What is 'no win - no fee'?
A term used to indicate that there is no fee to pay whether you win or lose your claim and this arrangement is made by a written agreement between your lawyer and yourself and drawn up in accordance with Law Society rules.
It is known as a Conditional Fee agreement and although it protects you in respect of your own legal costs you will be required to take out insurance to cover the costs you will have to pay to your opponent if you lose.
We will organise and pay for this insurance on your behalf and recover the cost of the premium from the other side if successful. If you are not successful then we will bear the cost of the insurance. It will not cost you anything win or lose.
